In 1983, the former Chrysler Corporation introduced the first "minivan."
In 1990, this was followed by the first luxury minivan with the
introduction of the Chrysler Town & Country model. Since 1983, the
Chrysler Group says it has sold nearly 10 million minivans worldwide, introduced 50
minivan-first features, and earned more than 150 awards industry-wide.
