Pacific Pride, an operator of unmanned, cardlock fueling sites, has started a phased implementation plan to eventually accept Wright Express cards at its more than 1,200 locations in the United States. According to the company, more than 25 percent of Pacific Pride locations accept Wright Express cards for the purchase of fuel and the remaining locations will come online as new point-of-sale (POS) devices are installed at individual sites. "We are pleased to welcome Wright Express to Pacific Pride sites, says Cindy Condon, vice president administration for Pacific Pride. "Our dedicated commercial sites are uniquely suited for the commercial customer, no matter the size of vehicle, size of fleet or fuel requirement. We are the first and best site choice for any commercial customer." The agreement provides Wright Express with even broader acceptance at key locations used by heavy truck fleets. Pacific Pride sites offer gasoline and diesel at all sites, 24/7 site access, and a fully automated transaction for commercial customers. "This agreement with Pacific Pride represents another step in our aggressive plan to enter the heavy truck market," said Michael Dubyak, president of Wright Express. "We have formed other alliances, reached other agreements and will soon unveil additional plans that will make Wright Express a major player in heavy trucks. We are extremely excited about the opportunities ahead of us as we bring our experience, programs and world-class service to what is essentially a new market for us."
