Mercedes-Benz Credit (MBC), a DaimlerChrysler
Services business unit, announced Mar. 26 the launch of a refreshed version
of its Web site, www.mbcredit.com. According to the company, the new site incorporates all features
of the former mbcc.com site and combines them with new features in an easy
to navigate environment. By linking the MBC Web site to Mercedes-Benz USA's
site (www.mbusa.com), the customer is provided with a seamless transition
between the two.
The new Web site, www.mbcredit.com, offers a host of new features for
customers, says the company. The simplified user interface now incorporates an improved
payment estimator, including all Mercedes-Benz vehicle models. Lease
customers can take advantage of the First Class Finish® credit card test to
ensure they understand responsibility for wear and tear on a lease vehicle
prior to the vehicle's return.
Current MBC customers are able to review their account information 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week, and at the same time, they can view their invoices
and make payments online. The new PointClickPay system has already reported
more than 4,000 payments and more than $3 million in transactions.
Authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers are now able to view prospective customer
credit applications online.
In addition to new and improved features, the company says the site was enhanced to reflect
the award-winning design and functionality of MBUSA's site. "With the new
Web site design we are able to strengthen our customer brand focus with a
seamless customer approach. By combining the power of the Mercedes-Benz
brand with the full range of financial services offered by Mercedes-Benz
Credit, we continue to provide our customers with the best brand experience
possible," said Mark Korman, vice president of Marketing - Mercedes-Benz
Credit.
