DaimlerChrysler Fleet Operations has announced their 2004 model year "Fast Start Program" incentives offered to qualified commercial fleet customers to get the 2004 ordering season off to a FAST START. The program rules are below. PROGRAM PURPOSE:
To encourage Fleet customers to get orders in early, so production may be scheduled on a timely basis. PROGRAM PERIOD:
May 18, 2003 through October 31, 2003 unless otherwise notified. PROGRAM TYPE:
Order Bonus Incentive PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
This program offers off invoice credit of $300 for Commercial Fleet and Individual Lease orders, submitted within the Program Period, that do not have a preferred shipping period (PSP) beyond 11-30-2003. Orders for customers with an all inclusive Volume Incentive Payments (VIP) will be excluded. PARTICIPATING DEALERS:
All Franchised DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC dealers with primary dealer codes are eligible to participate in this program. Secondary dealer codes are also eligible. VEHICLE and SALE TYPE ELIGIBILITY:
All new and unused 2004 model year; Stratus and Sebring Sedans; Jeep Liberty; All Minivans (Excluding eX Models). Sales reported on the Fleet NVDR with the following sale types are eligible under this program:
  • Type Sale 3 – Commercial Fleet
  • Type Sale 5 – Fleet Lease
  • Type Sale 6 – Individual Fleet Lease All sales must be transmitted to DaimlerChrysler Motors Company LLC within two (2) working days following the vehicle delivery. PROGRAM ELEMENTS:
    The sales code (7UP) will automatically be added to orders that have sales codes including 4WA or 4KY and a customer Fleet account number (FAN) that does not have an all inclusive Volume Incentive Payment (VIP). DEALER PAYMENT:
    The selling dealer will receive an off invoice credit of $300 for each eligible vehicle ordered under the program. ACCURACY OF REPORTING:
    REVISED DaimlerChrysler Fleet Account definition, effective March 1, 2003: Any individual or company that does not presently have a Fleet Account Number who: a) purchases and registers or leases 5 or more new vehicles (any make or model) during the current or preceding calendar year, current or preceding model year or preceding twelve month period -OR- b) currently operate a fleet of 15 or more vehicles (owned or leased), MUST complete the enrollment procedure necessary for issuance of a DaimlerChrysler Fleet Account Number (FAN). In addition, it is the dealership’s responsibility to determine a customer’s Fleet eligibility. To assist with fleet eligibility and enrollment procedures, please contact the Fleet Information Center 1-800-999-FLEET(3533). NOTE: Fleet Accounts currently enrolled in DaimlerChrysler Fleet programs will continue to be Registered Fleet Accounts and will not be required to re-enroll (unless notified otherwise). The Fleet Account Number (FAN) previously assigned will remain in effect. Dealers are solely responsible for the complete and accurate reporting of their vehicle sales. Dealers understand and agree that any payment by DaimlerChrysler that is the result of the inaccurate reporting of vehicle sales will be charged back to the dealership. Payments processed and found by audit to be ineligible under this program will not be eligible for payment under any other incentive program(s). Vehicles eligible for this program that are reported retail and receive MPA, RMA, Retail Salesperson or any other Retail Objective Based payments will be ineligible upon audit and will not be eligible for subsequent payment under this program.
