Wright Express will provide fleet fuel cards and fleet management services to the states of
Colorado and Alabama as outlined in two new contracts that cover approximately 17,000 vehicles, the company announced Sept. 17. Both contracts cover all vehicles for the two states.
As part of the agreements, all fuel purchases made for state vehicles will be made using Wright Express cards. Wright Express will then
handle all related billing and reporting functions. This unified approach allows states to increase efficiency and reduce expense, according to the company.
Fleet managers in both Colorado and Alabama will also have access to WEXOnline, an online account management tool designed to simplify fleet management and streamline management of
government fleets.
These latest contracts increases to 19 the number of state fleets now using Wright Express cards to purchase fuel and who use Wright Express to help manage their fleets, the company said.
Wright Express says it has broad acceptance at fueling sites across the nation and has also launched the new Wright Express Service Network to increase the number of locations and the range of automotive maintenance and repair services available to its Universal Card fleet
customers.
