LeasePlan USA has become the first fleet management company to become a member of the Automotive Maintenance Repair Association’s (AMRA), Motorist Assurance Program (MAP). "The relationship reaffirms LeasePlan’s commitment to continually seek the highest industry standard of care for all of their clients’ fleets," LeasePlan USA said in a prepared statement.
The Motorist Assurance Program (MAP) is the union of more than 100 of the most recognizable names in the automotive maintenance and service industry and their suppliers. The program is designed to strengthen the image and reputation of the auto repair industry by developing and implementing uniform inspection and communication standards. These standards help consumers by clarifying communication between them and repair facilities, resulting in substantially reduced comebacks and increased satisfaction.
Many of LeasePlan’s national account vendors are active members of the MAP program, including Bridgestone/Firestone, Goodyear, Meineke, Midas, Monro, Pep Boys, All Tune and Lube, Sears, and Tire Kingdom.
"LeasePlan continues to raise customer service expectations within the automotive fleet industry by strategically partnering with organizations that ensure the highest level of end-user satisfaction," the company said in a statement.
