The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) is initiating a survey to track current trends and future intentions regarding the use of upstream remarketing. The survey will be conducted with remarketing managers and executives within institutional consignors (manufacturers, captive finance companies, bank/financial institutions, vehicle leasing companies, and commercial fleet and car rental companies). Emercent Solutions, a Chicago-based consulting firm, will be conducting the survey beginning the first week of November. The findings and conclusions will be presented at the Remarketing Roundtable Series in conjunction with the Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) show being held Jan. 21-23, 2004 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. To receive further information about the survey contact Matt Marks of the IARA at or Bob Gear of Emercent Solutions at About IARA The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance exists to assist, educate, and share knowledge about the remarketing industry, both with members and industry partners. The IARA seeks to standardize processes within the industry. The Alliance is a central forum for the sharing of ideas and best practices within the industry and serves as a mechanism by which industry remarketers can share information on regulatory and legislative issues affecting the market.
