Dave Olsen has been appointed president of Workhorse Custom Chassis. Workhorse, a subsidiary of GVW Holdings, Highland Park, Ill., is a manufacturer of motor home, bus, and walk-in truck chassis as well as complete walk-in trucks. Olsen joined GVW Holdings in 2001 as president of GVW Parts, another subsidiary of GVW Holdings, where he was most responsible for integrating four separate aftermarket entities into one seamless organization. “Dave quickly took charge of a challenging situation and made rapid improvements in our parts operations,” said Andrew Taitz, chairman and chief executive officer of GVW Holdings. “He has shown an outstanding commitment to customer service and understands what it takes to get customers the products they need, when they need them.
