Steven Torok, Mitsubishi Motors Corp.’s executive vice president for international sales and marketing, will return to DamilerChrysler A.G. as a member of Chrysler’s internal strategy group, Automotive News reported today. Mitsubishi is in the midst of a major reorganization after incurring huge debts as a result of faltering North American sales and bad auto loans. The company’s president and CEO Rolf Eckrodt will assume Torok’s old duties until a replacement is announced on April 30th. On that date a shareholders meeting will determine a restructuring plan for Mitsubishi, AN reports.
