Here´s a reason to make it to the Chicago Auto Show in February: Visitors will have the opportunity to test-drive Chryslers, Jeeps and Dodges on an indoor, half-mile test-drive track around the perimeter of a 156,000-square-foot exhibit--equivalent to almost four football fields. The test track will include a Jeep Trail Rated course to demonstrate Jeeps´ off-road capabilities, including traction, articulation, ground clearance, maneuverability and water fording, and a Dodge truck off-road course. (Water fording? Cool!) Thirty vehicles can operate on the test track at any given time. The track is an even bigger realization of the same concept presented earlier in the year at the Jacob Javitz Center in New York, according to Chrysler officials. The Chicago Auto Show will take place February 11 – 20 at the McCormick Place Convention Center.
