Honda's new Accord Hybrid has added power to its gasoline-electric car. The Accord Hybrid is now the most powerful Accord, incorporating a 255-horsepower engine. It is also the first V-6 hybrid car in the U.S.

The estimated driving range for the Accord Hybrid is 633 miles while getting 29 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway with the standard five-speed automatic transmission. The Accord Hybrid runs from $29,990 to $31,990.

The Accord Hybrid also features a cylinder deactivation component that disables three cylinders during cruising or deceleration. In addition, the engine stops running when the vehicle comes to a stop in order to conserve fuel.
