The inspection in Tempe, Ariz., found 304 violations in 73 inspected vehicles. One driver was arrested for suspected marijuana possession, while another was thought to be driving while impaired by a stimulant.
A total of 15 vehicles and six drivers were ordered off the roads. Violations included exceeded weight limits and improper brake systems, the report said.
In a previous inspection of 42 trucks, 22 were taken off the roadways after 311 violations were uncovered.
