Boasting expanded capability, versatility and performance, Dodge has introduced its 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Chassis Cab in attempt to conquer the Class 3 chassis cab segment. Offered in single-rear- wheel and dual-rear-wheel models, two cab-axle lengths (60 and 84 inches) are available, as well as two engines – a new 6.7-liter Cummins High Output Turbo Diesel with 305hp and 610 lb.-ft of torque or a HEMI V-8 gasoline engine with 330hp and 375 lb.-ft. of torque. Additional features include a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 10,200 lbs., a 52-gallon standard fuel tank and an interior cab room of 121.6 cubic feet for Quad Cab models and 65.2 cubic feet for regular cab models. The 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Chassis Cab is the first Ram product exclusively designed for the chassis cab market, and boasts an innovative upfitter- and user-friendly chassis that delivers commercial-grade reliability and durability with industry-standard 34-inch frame rail spacing, flat, "clean" frame rails and a proprietary design that places all chassis components below the top of the frame surface.
