ISELIN, NJ - On June 1, NAFA launched its 2006 Member-Recruit-A-Member Drive. "I think having this campaign really promotes a good cause and motivates people to expand NAFA's membership base," said Oleg Cytowicz, NAFA National Membership Committee Chair and automotive fleet coordinator for Unilever HPC U.S.A. He continued, "We as NAFA Members know the networking aspect of membership is invaluable. We need to identify all the players in all the areas and bring them into the NAFA fold," Cytowicz emphasizes. He explains that Members and Affiliates should be looking to attract these folks to "keep benefits fresh and as current as possible" so that "our knowledge base can broaden." The campaign is a repeat of the successful 2005 membership drive, in which 27 NAFA chapters across Canada and the U.S. welcomed new Members. This accounted for more than 20 percent of 2005's new fleet managers to NAFA. Most importantly, this grassroots campaign built membership momentum, as the first quarter of 2006 has already experienced positive growth. This is how the Member-Recruit-A-Member Drive works: For each new fleet manager Member that a NAFA Member or Affiliate recruits between June 1 and November 30, 2006, one ticket will be entered in a drawing to win a 2007 Institute registration - a $600 registration cost providing learning opportunities that easily compare to a $9,000 consultant's fee! In addition to the drawing for a free registration, NAFA coupon dollars are being offered for each application processed within the contest rules. The National Association of Fleet Administrators, Inc. (NAFA) is a not-for-profit, professional membership society serving the needs of Members who manage fleets of automobiles, SUVs, trucks, vans and a wide range of specialized mobile equipment for organizations in the United States and Canada.
