The National Association of Fleet Administrators Inc. (NAFA) has announced the success of its latest Fleet Management seminar, held in Houston, Texas from October 15 through October 17, 2006. Offered three times each year at selected locations throughout the country, NAFA's Fleet Management Seminar is a comprehensive educational forum for the entire fleet management industry. Designed specifically for fleet managers who seek the fundamental principles and practices of successful fleet management, the program topics include Policies & Procedures, Fleet Organization & Responsibilities, Acquisition & Disposal, Maintenance & Technology and Safety & Crash Management. Following on the heels of June's Toronto Fleet Management seminar, which provided Canadian-specific content to a capacity crowd, the Houston seminar sold out three weeks early and received to rave reviews. "Our seminar is truly the place to be if you're new in the industry or in need of expanding your new fleet management knowledge," said NAFA Executive Director Phil Russo, CAE. "The faculty is outstanding -- there's more than 40 years of collective experience for folks just starting out in their fleet careers to exchange their concerns with. The seminar provides a value unequalled elsewhere in the industry -- to have access to that kind of experience and knowledge one on one. We're quite pleased the seminars have experienced so much success this year. It's a truly great value for fleet managers and our Members." The next seminar will take place Wednesday, January 31, 2007 through Friday, February 2, 2007 at the Hilton Airport/Harbor Island Hotel in San Diego, and it is filling up quickly. NAFA anticipates selling out before January. Participants whosign up by the New Year will save money with NAFA's early registration discount rate. Future seminars will be held at the Hilton O'Hare Airport Hotel in Chicago, June 20-22, 2007 and the Marriott Renaissance Center in Detroit, October 28-30, 2007. Because of the incredible interest in its seminar program and the limited number of seats, NAFA encourages participants to pre-enroll now for these seminars.
