Firestone Industrial Products introduces its heavy-duty Level-Rite spring air over damper for 1/2 -, 3/4- and 1-ton 2001-2007 Chevrolet pickup trucks. Specifically designed for the front torsion bar/spring suspension found on both the 2WD and 4WD models, the new Level-Rite system comes in a billet aluminum restraining cylinder and replaces the shock absorber, helping level Chevrolet trucks that carry a winch, plow, bull bar or any other extra weight on the front of the vehicle. Using the Level-Rite air helper springs to level the front of the vehicle improves ride characteristics, increases vehicle stability and reduces suspension fatigue. "Construction workers who load their trucks with equipment to take to the job site use our Ride-Rite systems to help level the rear of their vehicles," said Paul Gibson, product manager, Firestone Industrial Products, Ride-Rite division. "With more truck owners adding accessories on the front and on the roof, this new air spring over damper has become necessary." The new system includes everything required for an easy installation, which takes most do-it-yourselfers about an hour; utilizing the factory holes for "no drill" installation. It has a two-year unlimited mileage warranty. Trained technicians are available toll free (800-888-0650) to answer any product application, installation or warranty questions Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST. The new front axle Level-Rite air spring over shock damper is the latest product to be added to a wide range of Firestone air helper springs. A list of vehicles that can benefit from Ride-Rite, Coil-Rite and Sport-Rite air helper springs can be found at www.ride-rite.com. Level-Rite is part of Firestone's Complete Suspension Solutions, which also offers Ride-Rite, Sport-Rite and Coil-Rite air helper springs.
