On Wednesday a Michigan Court ordered Navistar International Corp. to resume shipping the PowerStroke diesel engine to Ford, Reuters reports. Navistar, producer of the 6.4 liter diesel engine used in the 2008 F-Series Super Duty Trucks, had stopped building the engines because of a lawsuit with Ford. In January Ford sued Navistar on grounds that the company failed to pay for its share of recalls and repair costs for the 6-liter diesel engine used in the 2002-2007 model years reports the Detroit Press. In the lawsuit Ford said that they would withhold some of these costs from future payments for Navistar’s new engines.
