Consumer Reports has announced the magazine's annual ten Top Picks, or recommended vehicles that have met stringent requirements in three key areas: testing, reliability and safety. For the second time in the 10-year history of the list, all of the magazine's top picks were Japanese. The magazine decided not to make top picks in two categories where U.S. automakers usually do well—large sport utility vehicles and full-size pickups. Consumer Reports says the magazine avoided choosing best vehicles in those categories because it was testing several new models in both. 2007 Top Picks:

Family sedan - Honda Accord
Minivan - Toyota Sienna
Luxury sedan - Infiniti M35

Green car - Toyota Prius
Upscale sedan - Infiniti G35
