Are you a fleet manager pondering joining the biofuels gold rush? You'll want to join the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute (AFVi) and the Las Vegas Regional Clean Cities Coalition for "Biofuels Drive Economic Solutions," a national forum to be held September 20, 2007 at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The forum is designed as a comprehensive one day learning marketplace. Additional sponsors include the Ethanol Promotion and Information Council (EPIC) and the National Biodiesel Board (NBB). Speakers include representatives from Biodiesel Industries, city of Las Vegas, Clark County school district, EPIC, NBB, United States Departments of Agriculture and Energy, and OEMs showcasing light-, medium-, and heavy-duty biofuel vehicles. The day concludes with a roundtable discussion featuring fleet managers who have been using biodiesel and ethanol in their vehicles. The Forum is recommended for commercial, corporate, and government fleets as well as federal and state energy program managers. Specific targets are fleet owners and executives, as well as fleet operations and maintenance managers.
