Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) recently announced pricing for the 2010 Nissan Maxima sedan, Nissan Sentra and Sentra SE-R, and the 2010 Nissan Frontier mid-size pickup and Pathfinder and Xterra SUVs.

The 2010 Nissan Maxima is offered in two models, which Nissan says provide sports car-like performance with the sophistication of a premium sedan.  The manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) are $30,460 for the Maxima 3.5 S and $33,180 for the Maxima 3.5 SV.  Both models are equipped with a standard 290-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 and Xtronic CVT with available paddle shifters.

Maxima enhancements for 2010 include new wheel finishes, standard Bluetooth hands-free phone system on all models, and new or revised option packages - with features such as a new 7-inch color monitor and a 2GB music server.  Maxima's available Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System now includes DVD playback capability, streaming audio via Bluetooth technology, XM NavTraffic Real-Time Traffic Information, and XM NavWeather.  XM Satellite Radio is now standard on Maxima 3.5 SV (XM subscription required, sold separately).

Nissan also announced pricing for the 2010 Nissan Sentra and Sentra SE-R.  The Sentra's enhancements for the new model year, include updated exterior styling on Sentra 2.0, 2.0 S and 2.0 SL models, along with MSRP reductions on most trim levels.

Prices for 2010 model year are as follows:

2.0 CVT: $16,600.

2.0 S CVT: $17,160.

2.0 SR: $17,160

2.0 SL: $18,560

SE-R: $19,580

SE-R Spec V: $20,080

The lowest priced 2010 Sentra is the Sentra 2.0 with 6-speed manual transmission, which starts at $15,420. Among the new or revised option packages for 2010 is a first-ever Sentra Navigation Package (2.0 SL, SE-R, SE-R Spec V, January 2010 availability), which includes a 5.0-inch color screen and XM NavTraffic Real-Time Traffic Information (XM subscription required, sold separately).  MSRP for the Navigation Package will be $400.

Nissan North America also announced pricing for the new 2010 Nissan Frontier mid-size pickup and Pathfinder and Xterra SUVs. Each vehicle offers several enhancements for the new model year.

MSRP for the 2010 Nissan Frontier start at $17,540 for the Frontier XE King Cab I4 4x2 with manual transmission and $22,290 for the Frontier SE Crew Cab V6 4x2 with manual transmission. Thirteen Frontier King Cab and 14 Frontier Crew Cab models are available. In addition to King Cab and Crew Cab body styles, available configurations include a choice of 4x2 and 4x4, 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder (King Cab 4x2 only) or 4.0-liter V6 engines, manual or automatic transmissions, regular or long beds (Crew Cab only) and XE, SE, LE and PRO-4X trim levels.

Pathfinder MSRPs range from $27,440 for the Pathfinder 4x2 S FE+ with 4.0-liter V6 engine and automatic transmission to $42,160 for the Pathfinder 4x4 LE-V8 with automatic transmission.

The 2010 Nissan Pathfinder is offered in a range of three 4x2 and four 4x4 models, including a 5.6-liter V8-equipped LE V8.

The Nissan Xterra's starting MSRP is $22,450 for the Xterra 4x2 X with 4.0-liter V6 and manual transmission. The Xterra 4x4 X with V6 and manual transmission is $24,500.  Xterra is offered in 4x2 X, S and SE models and 4x4 X, S, Off-Road and SE models.
