According to Insurance Network News, data gathered from U.K.-based The Cooperative Insurance company, telematics technology used by its customers is leading to better driving behaviors among drivers between 17 and 25 years old.

Interestingly, the data shows discrepancies between the sexes, in which more female drivers are obtaining top scores in all four driving categories: speed, braking and accelerating, cornering and night-time driving.

As well, twice as many men received the lowest score in the speed category and three times as many men scored the lowest in the braking and accelerating category.
