Hear about the pros and cons of operating electric vehicles from fleets that have managed to successfully deploy these units.

The “EV Charging Infrastructure Needs for Fleet Use,” will take place from 4:10-5:10 p.m. at the 2012 Green Fleet Conference, scheduled for Oct. 2-3 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Schaumburg, Ill.

The session will feature an examination of real-world challenges in establishing an EV charging infrastructure based on actual fleet experience. Attendees will be able to get an understanding of the benefits and challenges of electric vehicles from companies and agencies with real-world deployment experience.

The panel will be moderated by Sam Ori from The Electrification Coalition, with panelists including: Rick Longobart, facilities and fleet manager for the City of Santa Ana, CA; Dave Meisel, director of transportation services for the Pacific Gas and Electric Company; Keshav Sondhi, asset manager for FedEx Express; and Brandi Stensos, product leader at GE Capital Fleet Services.

GE Capital Fleet Services will also be exhibiting at the conference at Booth 401.
