Subaru of America debuted its new “Starlink” in-car connectivity technology at the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Subaru also demonstrated its new Eyesight driver-assist system at CES.

The automaker said its new Starlink infotainment platform integrates Aha, an Internet content service provider, into the vehicle. Starlink gives drivers access to a range of infotainment choices via Aha, including TripAdvisor, different radio stations, customized weather information, social media and more. Subaru said it plans to add more content partners and capabilities to Starlink over time.

Starlink will debut in the 2014-MY Subaru Forester in models equipped with navigation. The automaker said it plans to introduce Starlink as a running change in 2013-MY Subaru Legacy and Outback models with factory navigation. Other 2014-MY Subaru models to get Starlink this summer include the Impreza, BRZ and XV Crosstrek.
