Cadillac owners are happier with their 2001 cars than Lexus owners or anybody else for that matter. But the auto industry is getting closer to the point where there are no bad vehicles, according to a new customer-satisfaction survey. "Cadillac won the whole thing. It is a testament to the way Cadillac dealers are treating their customers," said George Peterson, president of AutoPacific Inc., the Tustin, Calif., firm that conducted the survey. The survey involved about 17,000 owners of 2001 cars and trucks purchased or leased from September through November 2000.
