FleetPride Inc., which bills itself as the nation's largest aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck parts, on Aug. 13 announced that John J. Greisch has resigned from the positions of president, chief executive officer and director. Greisch's resignation will become effective at such time as the company appoints his successor. An active search for his successor is currently underway, and Greisch will work with the chairman of the board and the company's operating executives during this transition period. "I am proud to have helped build FleetPride into the leading independent distributor in the heavy-duty aftermarket over the past three years," Greisch said. "The company is now positioned to take advantage of growth opportunities as the industry and overall economy recover." "We wish him well in his future endeavors. "Aurora and Brentwood, the company's principal shareholders, are now looking forward to the next stage of the company's development and success under new leadership," Warren said.
