The Jeep Renegade was named the 2016 Car of the Year in Brazil by Autoesporte magazine (Editora Globo), which has been hosted annually by the magazine since 1966.
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class was declared the 2014 China Car of the Year.
The GT-R beat out other Car of the Year contenders, such as the Dodge Challenger R/T, the Lincoln MKS and the Pontiac G8.
The Impala and Silverado capture this year’s honors in a competition that also marks a ‘three-peat’ award for the Impala. Fleet professionals voted their selection online from a field of 64 cars and 37 light-duty trucks.
