This latest action affects more than 654,000 Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles in the U.S.
The recall covers 2013-2015 model-year Ford C-Max and Escape vehicles, 2012-2015 Focus vehicles, 2015 Mustang and Lincoln MKC vehicles, and 2014-2016 Transit Connect vehicles.
The regional recall covers nearly 766,700 vehicles in the U.S., including such models as the Focus, Escape, Transit Connect, and C-MAX.
The safety recall covers 184,000 2011-2012 model-year Ford F-150 trucks and 2012-MY Expedition, Mustang and Lincoln Navigator vehicles in the U.S.
