GreenRoad announced the integration of GreenRoad Advanced Tracking, powered by GPS Insight. With the availability of GreenRoad Advanced Tracking, GreenRoad adds fleet management capabilities to its driver performance and safety solution.
GreenRoad 's 2012 Fleet Driver Performance Data Benchmark Report, analyzed safety performance data for more than 70,000 drivers worldwide.
Fleet Elite status is awarded to GreenRoad drivers who maintain a GreenRoad Safety Score of five or less for the full 2012 calendar year, and log more than 500 GreenRoad driving hours.
Respondents in the GreenRoad's survey represent a range of fleet sizes — from 25 vehicles to more than 1,000 — in utility, construction, private delivery, business services, white collar businesses, government and transit.
The GreenRoad Smartphone Edition uses technology within the smartphone to eliminate the need for an in-vehicle telematics device. The mobile app also includes a distracted driving prevention feature that can be configured to automatically disable physical use of the smartphone while the vehicle is moving.
GreenRoad will integrate the GPS Insight solution with its driver performance management service to offer customers GreenRoad Advanced Tracking.
