Subaru of America has announced a date that fleets can begin ordering the 2015 Legacy mid-size sedan and Outback crossover — a pair of vehicles that have seen significant redesigns.
The models, when equipped with optional autobrake and forward collision warning systems, include the Cadillac ATS sedan and SRX SUV, Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan, Subaru Legacy sedan and Outback wagon, and Volvo S60 sedan and XC60 SUV.
New features on the 2013-MY Legacy include Subaru’s new EyeSight driver-assist system, which combines Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking and Vehicle Lane Departure Warning.
"Building safe vehicles is one of the things our customers have come to know and expect from us," said Tom Doll, executive vice president and COO, Subaru of America Inc.
The 2010 Legacy line will offer three levels of performance: Legacy 2.5i, Legacy 2.5i Premium and Legacy 2.5i Limited. Each is powered by a 170-hp 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Boxer engine (with available PZEV rating) and equipped with a new standard 6-speed manual transmission or the new Lineartronic CVT.
