The LA1 tolling facility was officially reopened on November 20 with a brand new Roadside Toll Collection system, which includes the Commercial Back Office system and improved CSC operations by Kapsch TrafficCom

LA1 is a crucial transportation artery for the State of Louisiana and the country, supporting southern Louisiana's oil, petroleum, and chemical industries. Additionally, it is a significant route for sport fishing enthusiasts in the region.

Kapsch TrafficCom completed this project in partnership with Plenary Americas. Dan Toohey, SVP of Sales and Services for Kapsch, said they are pleased to support this and other Public-Private Partnerships that help rebuild critical infrastructure projects in Louisiana.

On November 9, Kapsch took over the management and operation of the system, and the new all-electronic tolling gantry went live. On November 20, Kapsch TrafficCom reopened the Customer Service Center at Golden Meadow, LA, and started the entire end-to-end operations of the GeauxPass Roadside Program.
