Illinois-based Truck Group, a dealership that sells used specialty commercial trucks nationwide, has changed its name to Forge Truck Centers and will be opening a new location to serve Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and parts of Georgia.

Forge Truck Centers was founded in 2019 in Hinckley, Illinois. Since then, the company has expanded from four to more than 40 employees and more than 1,000 customers in industries such as:

“Forge Truck Centers was selected because it reflects our focus on developing long-term customer relationships, delivering outstanding service, and building a network of regional locations throughout the country,” said Vince Bordignon, sales manager, Forge Truck Centers.

Forge Truck Centers begins its geographic expansion with the opening of its South Central Regional Sales and Service Center near Dallas later this month. The Dallas location of Forge Truck Centers in Hutchins will primarily serve customers in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and parts of Georgia.

More Regional Locations Opening Each Year

Plans call for the opening of one new regional location annually over the next several years. The company said the new centers will make it convenient for regional customers to see a truck in person before buying, take delivery of a vehicle more quickly, and get parts and service.

Forge Truck Centers offers one of the country’s largest specialized inventories of used heavy-duty commercial trucks that are in high demand but are hard to find. Upon the opening of the company’s second location, inventory will total around 300 vehicles.

Forge Truck Centers Provides Upfitting

Complementing its extensive inventory, Forge Truck Centers provides comprehensive service and support. The company specializes in upfitting services—including but not limited to the addition of a headache rack for storing tools or a wet kit hydraulic system to power additional equipment—so that a truck can be customized for each customer’s needs.
