Element Fleet Management has partnered with Shell Fleet Solutions and WEX for the development of a new fuel management program that is designed to streamline fleet fuel management capabilities.

The new Element Navigator fuel product allows clients to utilize an enhanced set of product features that focuses on the priorities that matter to clients, such as driver convenience, security, control, reporting, and benchmarking, according to the fleet management company. The new resource is powered through WEX technology.

The program's service card is accepted at thousands of vendors in North America, and can allow drivers to locate the lowest-price fuel. It also offers flexible prompts to be able to shutoff odometer entry at the pump to customize driver experience, according to Element.

Additionally, it features enhanced card security and fraud alerts, and allows fleet managers to limit when and how the card can be used such as the days of the week and/or the time of day the card is accepted, in addition to other customizable parameters.

Extensive details are captured by the Element Navigator on each purchase, giving fleets immediate control of expenses.

Also part of the fuel management program, the Element consulting team can look at the fleet's fuel data and compare it against state and province fuel averages and similar fleets to gauge how a fleet is performing.
