Chevrolet will offer four new option packages with its 2018 Express full-size van based on feedback from fleet and other commercial purchasers, the company has announced.

The optional equipment groups, which combine content that had to be purchased separately in the past, include the Communications Package, Safety Package, Enhanced Convenience Package, and Cargo Package.

"The input we got from our dealers and customers was clear: continue to build on the strengths of the vans with business solutions GM Fleet is known for," said John Schwegman, director of commercial product and medium duty for GM Fleet. "We put together packages that will make the Chevrolet Express an even more valuable tool and deliver savings worth up to $1,000."

The Communications Package includes SiriusXM radio; Bluetooth; an enhanced audio system with AM/FM, CD, and MP3 player; tilt wheel and cruise control; and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with controls.

The Safety Package includes Rear Park Assist, Side Blind Zone Alert, heated mirrors, a tilt wheel, and cruise control.

The Enhanced Convenience Package includes remote keyless entry, remote vehicle start, a tilt wheel, cruise control, heated mirrors, and trailering equipment that includes a hitch platform and dual four-pin/seven-pin sealed connector.

The Cargo Package includes a spray-on cargo liner that prevents scratches and is easy to clean.

Each package includes the Vortec 6.0-liter V-8 engine and the Commercial Link telematics system with OnStar connectivity for a year.

The packages will be offered with the Express 2500 cargo and passenger vans, as well as the GMC Savana 2500 cargo and passenger vans.
