Over the past few months, car makers have unveiled everything from luxury-car rebates to zero percent financing. Now comes the latest deal: the "fashion markdown" for minivans, according to the Wall Street Journal. With SUVs having taken over as the family vehicle of choice, car makers have been slashing the price of minivans to entice customers. Even for car shoppers accustomed to bargains, the deals are striking -- with prices at their lowest level in three years. Dealers are more willing to bargain, with some even selling popular brands like the Honda Odyssey for $500 less than sticker price, according to the Journal. A year ago the Odyssey commanded a premium.
