Garmin Selects Navigation Technologies as Supplier of Digital Maps for Navigation Devices

Navigation Technologies, a provider of digital maps for vehicle navigation, Internet/wirelessapplications and business solutions announced August 14 that it has reached anagreement with Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. and a manufacturer of GPS-enabled navigation, communication andinformation devices, that will make the company's digital road map thepreferred choice for Garmin's array of portable navigation systems. Garmin says it already uses Navtech maps to power three of its current MapSourcesoftware products -- City Navigator, City Select and MetroGuide -- and underthis agreement will continue leveraging Navtech maps in future products.
