January 9, 2003

InterTrak TrackingServices, L.L.C., (www.trackmenow.com) announced it will be showingits "LifeTrak" Automatic Collision Notification (ACN)device at the 2003 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, fromJanuary 9-12, 2003, Booth 4856.According to the company, LifeTrak represents the industries'first aftermarket ACN device specifically designed for post-productioninstallation. InterTrak has partnered with Televoke and Numerex Corp.to deliver "LifeTrak" as a Telematics companion product providing safety delivered by wireless technology in the event ofa traffic accident. "Airbags are no longer enough," says Barnet Fagel,InterTrak's vice president of Sales and Marketing. When asked aboutthe real need, Fagel added, "Unlike other systems, LifeTrak isdesigned to work in spite of front-end collisions that can damage thevehicle's battery making it powerless to operate OEM emergencycommunications systems." According to the company, LifeTrak is a dual-axis impact sensor accessory that interconnectswith either of InterTrak's vehicle location devices, AutoTrak orAEGIS. LifeTrak detects front, rear and side collisions withoutconnecting to any factory airbag systems or sensors. When a LifeTrakequipped vehicle experiences a traffic collision, LifeTrak triggersthe InterTrak location device to automatically send an alert messageover Numerex's Cellemetry network to the Televoke backend platformsupplying the accident's location, date and time. The driver may keeptheir family's medical information in their secure on-line InterTrakmedical file for use by medical personnel.
