DETROIT – Despite the fact that half the new vehicles sold in the United States this year will be trucks, vans or SUVs, the recently reincarnated Dodge Charger heads the Detroit News’ “Ten Best Rides of 2006” list. In total nine out of ten of the vehicles picked by Detroit News were cars, with four of those top choices coming from local Detroit Automakers. In addition, the 2006 Honda Civic was chosen as Detroit News’ Car of the Year, and the 2006 Honda Ridgeline won for Truck of the Year. The Detroit News Ten Best Rides of 2006 are: Dodge Chrysler
