NAFA Voters Endorse New Name

September 27, 2007

NAFA members and affiliates have recently endorsed a recommendation that the association adopt the new d/b/a name of NAFA Fleet Management Association, the association reports. The NAFA Board of Trustees made the recommendation in early September after deciding against changing the incorporated name of the association. As a result of the vote, there will not be a change in the legal name under which the association is incorporated. Instead, the association will adopt NAFA Fleet Management Association as the new name under which it will do business. As such, the public name and all communications will simply refer to the association as NAFA Fleet Management Association or just NAFA, without any reference to the words for which those letters stand, according to the association. In a related decision, voters also chose the new tagline for the association as “Fleet Solutions for Fleet Professionals.”Additionally, voters selected a new logo which will be unveiled later this year.
