Finalists Selected for Castrol's Big Honkin' Truck Makeover

Castrol Tection Extra recently narrowed the pool of contestants to three finalists in the Big Honkin’ Truck Makeover contest. Online visitors of and attendees at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) will vote to determine which owner-operator will receive a $50,000 truck makeover “Bilt by the Boyz” of the Chrome Shop Mafia. The grand prize winner will be announced in Louisville, Ky. on the final day of MATS, Saturday, March 29 The finalists are: Tim Heddins from Gruver, Texas, Hendrik Kramer from Albuquerque, NM and Donald Wolford, Jr. from Greencastle, Pa. Entries were judged on originality, creativity, relevance of essay to theme and photographic appeal. The three finalists have more than 35 years of combined experience in the trucking industry and have driven millions of miles across the United States.The runner-up will receive a $3,000 BP gift card good for goods and merchandise at any BP location. The second prize winner will receive a $500 gift card good towards the purchase of truck electronics. All three winners will receive a year’s supply of Castrol Tection Extra.
