Enterprise Fleet Services has announced its newly designed Web site has far surpassed initial estimates for customer usage and signaled an important milestone for the company. In a little more than three months, the Web site, located at www.enterprise.com/fleets, has generated a 100 percent increase in hits and prospective inquiries, and a 60 percent increase in return visits. “Our main priority is to provide value to our customers and by becoming more e-commerce driven, we have responded to customers’ needs to use technology more effectively,” said Steve Bloom, senior vice president for Enterprise Fleet Services. “Redesigning our Web site was a top priority for 2003 and we are extremely gratified to have accomplished that goal, as well as to have received such an enthusiastic response from both current and prospective customers.” Bloom added that before beginning construction for the new Web site, several hundred customers and prospects were surveyed and their input helped guide the Enterprise team through planning and development of each of the user-friendly functions and features. To date, Enterprise has delivered eight of the top 10 most requested modifications, with the others due for completion by summer 2004. Enterprise said the Web site saves customers’ time with numerous query tools designed to give customers a more complete overview of their entire fleet program. Customers can produce snapshots of their fleet on the main customer page, as well as view, print and download a number of reports, including a management report, lease statements and maintenance reports. They also can view, print and download their vehicle order status and reminders about upcoming lease and license renewals. Full-maintenance customers can view, print and download service reminders. In addition, the Web site enables customers to forward e-mails regarding any of these reminders or notices.
