AmeriFleet recently announced the appointment of Craig Cheatle as Vice President of Strategic Development. AmeriFleet is involved in total logistics solutions and transportation services to the fleet management and corporate fleet industry. Cheatle joins AmeriFleet with more than 15 years of dealer, fleet management, leasing and manufacturer experience in the areas of sales, marketing and operations. Prior to joining AmeriFleet, Cheatle held a position with Audi of America. His background also includes various positions in the leasing and fleet management sector. This includes a position as director of sales and marketing for QEK Global Solutions, an automotive OEM fleet management company. Cheatle began his career in the automotive industry at the dealer level where he held positions of finance manager and sales manager. In his new role, Cheatle will develop a strategic program for AmeriFleet to increase efficiency in the company’s new vehicle delivery process. The program is slated to make its debut in the fourth quarter 2007. Cheatle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan. He is an active member of the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA). He will be based out of AmeriFleet’s Detroit office.
