According, the food truck industry of Buffalo, N.Y., is undergoing a pushback from the Entrepreneurs for a Better Buffalo thanks to the organization’s proposed mobile vending regulations.

In a certain area of the city, the organization is demanding that trucks be 100 feet from the property line of the nearest restaurant, 100-feet from a “stationary food vendor” and 500-feet from another food truck, school grounds and any festival.

The New York Food Truck Association proposes that a food truck be 200-feet away from the front door of a restaurant because “property line” could cause confusion. The association agrees that it should be 500-feet from any festival.
