BAF received approvals from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB), and Landi Renzo said it has also received EPA approval for its 2013 vehicle lineup.
The tool is aimed at helping fleet managers evaluate the costs associated with converting to compressed natural gas (CNG).
The CARB executive orders allow the vehicles to be sold and operated in California, as well as in 16 other states that follow CARB rules, according to BAF.
