Our top editorial goal is to provide relevant content addressing the real-world issues that work truck fleets face.
We understand that while some challenges are common across the industry, many are specific to individual vocations. That's why we've established an Editorial Advisory Board consisting of experienced professionals from various fleet backgrounds. This board will serve for the 2024 and 2025 calendar years and provide strategic guidance to ensure our content meets the needs of the industry.

Robert Adamsky

Robert Adamsky has 30 years of fleet management experience, starting from the maintenance shop floor. He currently manages 6,500 assets at AWP Safety. A past Professional Fleet Manager of the Year award nominee by sister publication, Automotive Fleet, his strengths are maintenance management, utilization, and compliance standards.
Robert Auer

Robert Auer is a former Ford and ASE Master tech. He spent 23 years on the floor as a professional technician before going into management with UPS, which now manages one of the largest Hubs in the company. Auer’s area comprises more than 55 techs, 350 tractors (diesel and natural gas), 800 package cars, 55 yard spotters, and 1,000 trailers daily.
Matthew Betz

After spending over 45 years in fleet industry sales roles, Matthew Betz moved to the other side of the desk, taking a role in fleet management at DTE Energy in Detroit. In this role, he is responsible for onboarding DTE’s Fleet EV program, which includes vehicle integration, infrastructure, socialization, and training. In 2008, Betz was only the fifth person in NAFA history to be awarded NAFA’s Excellence in Education Award, highlighting his involvement in NAFA education. He has been an instructor in the NAFA FMS series, a frequent presenter at NAFA’s Institute and Expo, and at dozens of local and regional NAFA chapter meetings. He has served many years on the NAFA, NETS, and AFLA boards. Betz is currently serving as AFLA’s President.
David Hayward, CAFM

David Hayward is an award-winning fleet manager with 20 years of experience spanning multiple industries and sectors. He currently leads the global fleet management group at ABM, overseeing 6,000 units and $100 million in spend, and is a Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM).
Sandy Martin

Sandy Martin began her career as an operations supervisor for a large ambulance service in the South. From there, she began emergency fleet sales and became a certified technician, owning Alabama's only ASE Blue Seal of Excellence private fleet service. Her company managed Class 1 railroad, municipal, airport rescue fleets, etc. After 15 years, she started focusing completely on managing and becoming certified in all DOT and fleet management aspects. With experience managing over 13,000 assets at one company, she focuses on fleet maintenance management (FMM), monitoring, and ensuring proper fleet services.

Amy McAdams has been in fleet for 15 years between ABM Industries (7.5 years, managing 5,000 assets); MORSCO (2.5 years, managing 1,500 assets); Farmer Brothers (4 years, managing 1,200 assets); and now Climate Pros (Since October 2023, managing 2,000 assets). She graduated from NAFA’s CAFM program in 2015.

Nick Miccoli began his career in the fleet industry in 2015 with Enterprise Fleet Management. Since then, he has held positions in Fleet Operations and Vendor Management. He currently oversees all fleet aspects for P1 Construction, a nationwide construction subcontractor, managing everything from 1/2-ton pickup trucks to semi tractors. Miccoli is passionate about the automotive industry and developing and improving company processes. Miccoli is a U.S. Army Combat Veteran and a native Rhode Islander.

Rascoe is dedicated to managing successful fleets in an ever-changing automotive industry.

Kevin Rider has over 25 years of experience in fleet management, with specific expertise in centralizing enterprise-level fleet programs. He currently manages 7,000 on-road assets and has oversight for more than 300,000 non-fleet fixed assets. His strengths are strategy development, leveraging data, and implementing technological solutions to gain efficiencies.
