Edmunds.com, an online resource for automotive information, announced the winners of its first Consumers’ Top Rated Vehicle Awards. According to Business Wire, consumers rated 2008-model vehicles in eight different categories: performance, comfort, fuel economy, fun to drive, interior design, exterior design, build quality and reliability.
Edmunds.com emphasizes that the awards are based on consumer input and reflect real-world driving experience and the vehicles’ impressions on their owners.
Among manufacturers, Audi won four awards, while Toyota, Lexus and Chevrolet each won two awards, said the Business Wire article.
