The Eclipse Sportback carries a starting MSRP of $37,745, plus a $1,995 destination fee, bringing the starting price to $39,740 before taxes and other fees. Destination charges are $2,120 in Alaska and Hawaii. A $2,600 Technology Package is the vehicle’s only optional package, and dealers set final selling prices.

The vehicle supports Level 1 and Level 2 charging through an SAE J1772 connection and DC fast charging through a North American Charging Standard (NACS) connection. Mitsubishi did not specify charging times in the pricing announcement.

Broader Product Expansion Includes Pickup Plans
The Eclipse Sportback is the first all-new vehicle introduced under Mitsubishi’s Momentum 2030 business plan. The company plans to debut at least one new or completely refreshed vehicle each fiscal year from 2026 through 2030.
An off-road version of the Outlander SUV is scheduled to follow in early 2027. Mitsubishi also said it intends to return to the North American pickup truck market through its collaboration with Nissan, although the announcement did not include a launch date or specifications.
The broader product plan includes gasoline, mild-hybrid, full-hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and battery-electric powertrains.
