Wright Express has issued its three millionth commercial charge card, according to Michael E. Dubyak, president and CEO. “In late 1996 –- 13 years after the business opened -- we celebrated issuing our millionth card,” Dubyak said. “We doubled that number in less than three years and now, 18 months later, we have over three million commercial cards in our market. This is a great indication of the confidence the commercial market, which is made up of our partners and customers, has in our services and of the high level of skills our associates bring to Wright Express. They have made us a leader in the commercial fleet card field and we are grateful to all of them for our success.” Through its fleet charge card programs, Dubyak said Wright offers convenience, security and control to more than 180,000 commercial and government car, van and truck fleets in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The Wright Express Universal Fleet card is honored at more than 160,000 fueling and vehicle service sites, including many vehicle maintenance and parts stores, with more than 99 percent of all fuel transactions captured electronically, according to Dubyak.
