For the third consecutive year, the American Automobile Association (AAA) has selected the Acura 3.2 TL as the AAA Top Car in the $25,000 to $30,000 category. More than 200 vehicles are reviewed in the 2001 AAA Car & Truck Buying Guide. Each vehicle is scored on a scale of one to ten in 20 different categories, including acceleration, performance, handling, and styling. The Acura 3.2 TL, the top selling sedan in its class, received an overall total of 162 points, among the highest for any vehicle. "The spirited performance of a car, the classy comfort of a luxury sedan, and the technological sophistication of a trend-setter," writes Dave Van Sickle, editor-in-chief of AAA Car & Truck Buying Guide. "It's hard to believe you can get all of that for less than $30,000, but the Acura 3.2 TL delivers. Instant acceleration, effortless cruising, and a serene ride characterize this car. Even the air conditioner never rises above a whisper."
