Time moves at a snail’s pace when you’re stranded on an icy highway, left shivering in the cold while waiting for a tow truck or police to come to your rescue. In some regions of the country, it's critical for fleet drivers to keep a winter emergency kit in their vehicle.
Watch the video above from ReadyWisconsin that offers tips on how to assemble such a kit. You may want to pass along this advice to your fleet drivers as a friendly reminder.
ReadyWisconsin, launched in September 2008, is a joint initiative of Wisconsin Emergency Management and the Wisconsin Citizen Corps.
